Luxury car maker BMW AG unveiled a new electric concept car called the i3 Concept Coupe at the Los Angeles International Auto Show.
The car signals the company plans to eventually expand its coming lineup of i-Series cars, which includes the boxy, electric powered i3 city car and the sleek, high-performance i8 plug-in hybrid.
The coupe is meant to be a stronger reflection than the i3 of the company’s reputation for building fun-to-drive cars. Its expected range of 100 miles is meant to make it useful for longer journeys, not just urban errands.
